Topic: The practice V the theory of theosophy
Topic Synopsis
We convert some of the ‘spiritual’ information we have or receive into knowledge. If we practise that knowledge on a day to day basis, we may convert some of it into understanding. However, to transmute that understanding into wisdom, we must experience that understanding in the fullness of our being. This can only be achieved by an established routine procedure and discipline which we impose willingly upon ourselves.
We must remember that wisdom cannot be learnt, because it is the light of the higher aspect of our Ego or soul that impacts upon and is reflected through our Personality vehicles of expression. The radiation of that light may be defined as wisdom.

The science of Alchemy
It is not commonly known that the science of Alchemy has three distinct perspectives: Physical, Metaphysical and Spiritual. Alchemy is a process by which both physical and etheric (metaphysical) matter may be affected. In a physical sense, gross metals may be transmuted into finer metals; and in an etheric sense, impedance in our etheric bodies, also, may be freed from obstruction. These two and the third perspective of Alchemy will be described in this talk.
